This delightful lodge is situated in the picturesque village of Cannich near to the town of Beauly, with the charming local pub/restaurant situated nearby, making this a fantastic base to explore this charming corner of Scotland. The vibrant and popular city of Inverness is less than an hour away, offering a choice of shops, pubs and restaurants. There are numerous attractions close by including the world famous Loch Ness and exhibition centre, Urquhart Castle, Glen Affric, Strathglass, Dog Falls, the MTB Centre at Glenurqhart, Guisachan House, Plodda Falls, Glen Strath Farrar, Moniack Castle (Highland Winery), Black Isles and the Glen Ord Distillery. This is one of three beautiful detached properties each set in private enclosed garden grounds.

On entering this delightful single-level accommodation you will find yourself in the spacious and welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The inviting and attractive lounge is an ideal space to relax in, complete with TV/DVD and offering stunning views. You will also find an ideally situated dining area, and the stylishly designed kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and washer/dryer. Exploring this attractive property further you will find two comfy bedrooms. There’s a cosy king-size room and a comfortable bunk bedroom. You will also find a shower room complete with WC.

Stepping outside, you can relax in the charming enclosed garden with outdoor furniture and which offers spectacular country views. The pub/restaurant, shop and Post Office are all just a short stroll away. Trout fishing, salmon fishing and pony trekking are all available.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Warm and cozy with stunning view. The hosts Scott and Angela and their gorgeous dogs made us and our dogs feel welcome. The Slaters Arms also run by Scott and Angela was also dog friendly warm, with a log burner, and welcoming. The food was excellent and reasonably priced too. Would highly recommend. Such a beautiful location with so much to visit Read moreand see with some stunning walks. A must for those looking for stunning scenery, tranquil walks, good food, good company and a very comfy bed. Beautiful cabin , stunning views, very welcoming hosts and the locals. Would definitely recommend. On our last night the shower switch broke & after one text to Miss Muir her partner came to repair it even though it was 10.30 at night. That's fantastic customer service.

Great location and absolutely fantastic for the dogs! The owners were really nice, they had rescue dogs of their own so understood our unique need fully. Brilliant week, loved it! Hope to get back in the future.
