This wonderful holiday cottage is part of the owner’s rural smallholding retreat and offers stunning views across the Teme Valley countryside in Worcestershire. Enjoy a peaceful break with beautiful walks straight from the door or spend the day exploring Tenbury Wells (7.5 miles) or Ludlow (16 miles) for an eclectic mix of festivals and markets throughout the year. The towns are both situated on the banks of the River Teme with several scenic walks to enjoy. Head across to Bewdley or Kidderminster (11 miles) and hop on one of the steam trains at the Severn Valley Railway that winds its way through the Severn Valley stopping at picturesque stations and country parks. The oldest motorsport venue in the world at the Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb (7 miles) runs regular events throughout the year. If you enjoy woodland walks, then a visit to one of the largest remaining ancient woodlands in Britain at Wyre Forest (6 miles) is a must. The popular Malvern Hills are just 23 miles from the property and offer an abundance of trails, cafes and country pubs to explore.

Make your way down the single lane track to the secluded property, which is all on one level. The property has a private entrance and brings you straight into a large useful space to store walking boots and jackets. This leads into a fully equipped kitchen which has everything you will need to enjoy a self-catered break. Continue into the hall and through into the light and warm lounge. This room has excellent views across the surrounding countryside and is a wonderful space to relax after a busy day exploring. Enjoy a movie on the Smart TV or simply curl up with a good book. There are two spacious bedrooms, one is a king-size room and whilst in bed enjoy the views of the Teme Valley; one has twin beds which can be linked together to make a super-king size bed on request, making the property great for families and friends looking to visit the area. The shower room is right next to the bedrooms and has a lovely, large walk-in shower.

There is an enclosed area next to the cottage with seating, for you to be able to dine alfresco and to let dogs or children play safely. Wonderful views can be enjoyed over the owner’s own garden.

We had a lovely and friendly welcome by the owner. The place itself is absolutely spotless and those views - I could stare out the window for hours! Could not fault the place at all and would definitely return.
