Detached family house with enclosed garden and games room, perfect for family and friends to relax with lots to do nearby. Enjoy a game of golf, go fishing, explore the countryside or head into historic Llangollen on the River Dee. Enjoy outdoor pursuits, fabulous walks including hill and mountain trails, and strolls along the canal and rivers, where there are also opportunities for mountain biking, white water rafting and canoeing. Take a trip on the horse-drawn canal boat, or ride in the steam train in Llangollen (5 miles) with its plethora of cafes, restaurants, pubs and independent shops. The steam train can also be joined in the village of Glyndyfrdwy where the property is located. Within 7 miles, you can visit many fantastic attractions including Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and Visitor Centre, and National Trust’s Chirk Castle. This is an all-year-round destination.

As soon as you arrive at the house you are welcomed with a breathtaking view. Walk into the stylish kitchen and through to the lounge/diner with a wood burner, Smart TV, comfortable sofa and chairs with patio doors opening onto the balcony, just perfect for relaxing after a full day out. If you decide to eat in, the kitchen has all the equipment you need to rustle up a meal with your local produce purchases. When ready, head back through to the dining table, the perfect setting to spend time together enjoying the food and each other’s company. After dinner, relax in the lounge and watch a film. There’s a lovely twin with a Smart TV and Juliet balcony, then go up the stairs to the second floor where you’ll find a spacious room with a king-size bed, Smart TV, Juliet balcony and a separate bathroom with free-standing bath and separate shower. This is a gorgeous house to stay in, with lovely views to wake up to. The front porch has space for your outdoor attire, ideal to tog up as you head out for the day.

Stepping outside, there is the balcony from the lounge with seating, a patio leading out from the kitchen with a table, chairs and gas BBQ, and another patio with a table and chairs to the side of the house. Walk down the steps through the pretty garden to the lower garden with a covered area, table and chairs. These spaces are perfect for embracing the views, listen to bird song and enjoy the great outdoors, whatever the weather. Storage with bike rack for bikes can be found in the lower garden covered area.

Had a lovely long weekend with friends. The views were stunning. Very comfortable beds in the cottage to stay in, Good size rooms to spread out in. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could want. The only thing we struggled with was as we were two couples there was the one master bedroom but the other double was in a different entrance andRead more quite separate so we used the twin bedroom. Glyndwr was a wonderfully comfortable and welcoming place to stay. The view is amazing whatever the weather. The proximity to the main road was not a problem and made it so easy to get out and about. We look forward to the opportunity to stay there again.

The cottage is lovely and easily accomadated 6 adults and 3 dogs. The views from the balcony and decking are stunning. The garden is dog safe which was very handy. It is quite remote which is what we wanted. Llangollen and Wrexham are not to far away for shopping and essentials. The Berwyn Arms pub is a 10 minute walk up the road and it served loveRead morely food and a good selection of ales. Overall it was really good , the view is fabulous . The place was clean and the owners were responsive . The location is not in the city which we preferred but also not far from the shops . Really appreciate allowing us to come early and stay late . The only negative was access inside for someone with stability , arthritis and joint pain issues is Read moredifficult due to large steps.
