We had a wonderful holiday at Seahorse Cottage. It is in an excellent location in Shanklin, close to beach and town. The cottage is beautifully decorated with comfortable beds and excellent equipment. We did miss not having a washing machine as we were staying with 3 young children. We enjoyed our stay at Seahorse Cottage. a quick response to a couple of minor issues. The beds are very comfortable, all the furniture is to a good standard. The only slight negative is that the 2nd toilet is small and under the stairs at the end of the lounge. The internet is a good speed. The cottage is only 5-10 mins walk to beach or town, 5 miRead moren walk to the coastal path, on a quiet local road. Buses and trains within an easy walking distance, location is excellent, a car is not essential. Hide

Beautifully decorated, quirky and fun, in a great location. We all enjoyed the luxury and special touches, as did our golden retriever - thanks Hayley, for the welcome pack and all our kitchen needs catered for (soaps, washing up, cling film, foil etc all present!) The heated outdoor dog shower was a great hit after several sandy walks and swims. WRead moree didnt use the sauna as the weather was lovely, but look forward to that next time . Thank you . We have just spent 7 nights in this beautiful property. The owners have thought of everything when thinking what people will need from a holiday retreat. From the games arcade upstairs, tv in each room, sauna and an outside shower (that was very welcome for washing our sandy dogs after a day at the dog friendly beach) and drying facilities in the dRead moreog playhouse in the garden. This is a genuinely stunning property which fully deserves the 'Luxury' tag which is applied to it on the website. It has been obviously undergone a recent renovation and this has been carried out to a frankly amazing standard. All mod cons are provided (and some more retro ones too, much to this 50-something's inner child's delight...) and our staRead morey could not have been more comfortable. Great location and we would definitely go back again for more. Ticks all the boxes. Super highly recommended! Hide

Charming house with easy walking distance to everything. High end kitchen accessories and furnishings. Adorable garden setting with did hotel and outside shower for sandy paws (and human feet!) note only one shower/bath and no laundry facilities if you are going with a full house!

We had a lovely stay at Seahorse Cottage, despite some less than favourable weather! The cottage is really well equipped along with some unusual features like the sauna and dog hotel both within the enclosed garden. With the odd day of rain during our stay the covered area adjoining the cottage was invaluable both for showering and drying off our pRead moreooch in comfort. The cottage location was ideal for walking to the centre of Shanklin or to the beach and for venturing further afield by car. Hide

Absolutely stunning property. The location was perfect for the beach and amenities. The house was beautifully decorated and felt very relaxing and quiet. The garden was lovely too! Would highly recommend this cottage! Also, so dog friendly and welcome gift basket for both us and the pooch! Amazing stay!
