This beautiful cottage is in the village of Lower Swell, nestled in the picturesque Cotswold countryside. The Cotswolds provides a tranquil and scenic setting for a holiday where you will be able to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the area, with rolling hills, charming villages and idyllic walking trails right on your doorstep. Enjoy a drink at the friendly local tavern whilst enjoying a stroll around the village admiring the beautiful architecture. Take the footpath into Stow-on-the-Wold (1 mile), a very popular market town which has an array of traditional pubs, independent shops and historic buildings. Explore Bourton-on-the-Water (4 miles), a well-renowned village which is popular with tourists from all over the world. The village is referred to as the ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’ as it has been built along the River Windrush with quaint stone bridges that crisscross the river, creating a picturesque and romantic atmosphere. After a full day exploring all that this stunning area has to offer, make your way back to your chocolate box cottage, which offers a luxury Cotswolds retreat in a fantastic location.

The property has been thoughtfully decorated to ensure total relaxation and comfort. Head into the property through the pretty porch and into the spacious lounge which has comfortable sofas to sink into and a Smart TV to enjoy a night in with your favourite movie. A real feature of the lounge is the fantastic wood burner, making this property ideal for a cosy getaway in the cooler months. Continue through into the fully equipped kitchen/diner which has everything you need for a self-catered break, allowing you to make use of some of the incredible local produce you will come across whilst out exploring. The dining table will comfortably seat your group of four and has views across the garden and the surrounding countryside beyond. Also, downstairs you will find a useful shower room. Climb upstairs and you will find two king-size bedrooms, both designed with total comfort in mind, utilising great quality beds and luxurious linens. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, one with a gorgeous roll-top bath and the other with a lovely walk-in shower. The bedrooms both have Smart TVs to allow couples and friends travelling together to make the most of a slower start to the day.

Heading outside through the patio doors, there is a lovely, enclosed garden with a seating area and charcoal BBQ where you will be able to eat and drink alfresco. The garden has incredible views across the rolling countryside and is a wonderful area for sitting and relaxing within this beautiful, serene setting.

Such a beautiful cottage well equipped and spotlessly clean . We had a lovely week. very comfortable beds which is always good and the welcome pack was amazing and very appreciated thank you. Would happily recommend this cottage .

Just a boutique, beautiful cottage, complete bliss for relation from the peaceful location with its enclosed garden and fabulous walks right from the doorstep to the luxury bedding and three bathrooms. Lovely cottage, three bathrooms, comfortable, well equipped. Amazing decor. Beds very comfortable. Owner was contactable, very helpful and very nice. Would definitely recommend. Location just four minutes from stow on the wold.

The cottage was very attractive and very stylish. It was all very comfortable with lovely bed linens, towels and furniture. We appreciated the food that was there to welcome us. The garden was pretty and peaceful and we were able to sit out there in comfortable garden furniture. The only adverse comment was that the cottage was located on a corner Read moreof a busy road with car parking opposite, and anyone with a mobility problem could find crossing the road difficult. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it was a nice surprise to see there is actually off road parking right opposite the cottage and the village pub was just steps away. The cottage was immaculate with top quality kitchen ware and appliances, very nice touches and great attention to detail. I did not even know towels that soft and luxurious existed. The cottage was lovely and cosy, warm and comfortable. We had a great family weekend away and loved the fact we could adjust the heating when necessary. The log burner was a bonus. Loved the garden too . The welcome pack was excellent and the cakes were amazing. Thank you.

Totally lived up to the 5 star rating! We arrived to very generous welcome treats. The cottage is beautifully furnished to a high standard. The beds are very comfy and both bedroom windows have green countryside views. The property is close to the road, but it was very quiet and we could not hear the cars inside so it did not disturb us at all. PleRead morenty of spaces to park just opposite the cottage. The village pub is so close you can see it from the front gate. We would love to stay again. Hide
