Nestled on the shores of the loch with panoramic views, this detached property is in a peaceful and secluded location. Lochgoilhead is a beautiful village located in the heart of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, known for its stunning natural scenery and outdoor activities. Surrounded by beautiful mountains and forests, it’s an ideal place for hiking, cycling and water-based activities. Explore the many trails in the area, such as the Cowal Way, the Donich or Ardgartan Loops, and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The waters of Loch Goil are perfect for kayaking, sailing, canoeing, swimming or SUP, and if you are lucky, you may spot some seals. Loch Goil is surrounded by many beautiful attractions, such as Inveraray Castle and Jail, Loch Fyne Oysters, Fyne Ales and the Arrochar Alps (all within 20 miles).

Inside, discover the classic elegance of a 19th-century Scottish country house, entering via the side entrance where there is a generous utility and boot room for your outdoor gear together with a downstairs WC. Move through to the spacious and well-equipped kitchen which is the perfect place to prepare delicious home-cooked meals. Next is the dining room overlooking the loch where you can set the table and enjoy a meal with family and friends. Across the hall is the lounge offering relaxation on the comfortable sofas – perfect for watching a film after a day out exploring the beautiful local area. On those cooler evenings, enjoy cosy nights in front of the wood burner. Two comfortable armchairs are perfectly positioned in the bay window to enjoy the views. There is also a second family lounge area which is great for kids and teenagers within the group who want to have their own space away from the adults. It has a TV, a selection of board games and a well-stocked library including local maps. From this room, you can access the conservatory which is the perfect spot for reading a book on a sunny day. On the first floor, you will find two spacious king-size bedrooms overlooking the water, one twin, one double bunk bedroom and a cosy single bunk room. There are two family bathrooms to share on the landing. As you approach the property, you cross a bridge where the water runs under from the first waterfall, and the second smaller waterfall is at the far side of the house. They are mesmerising to watch after some heavy rain.

The private, south-facing gardens are informal with areas of lawn and shrubs, and they have lots of nooks and crannies to find a quiet place to relax or have family fun. Paths lead in all directions and you’ll connect in a matter of minutes with the Argyll Forest Park network of short and long-distance walks and cycle routes.
