Great location, well equipped kitchen. The Images of the lodge make it look bigger and brighter than it actually is but we had a good stay.

The cottage was very clean, cosy and had all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay. It felt very private nestled in the trees and it was lovely to watch the birds from the kitchen window. It was within a reasonable distance of Ambleside, Grasmere etc. We were disappointed that we did not have access to the advertised pool/table tennis/jacuzzRead morei as the pool was out of commission on the weekend we stayed and the whole activity centre was locked.
