Rain or shine, you can enjoy a stroll around the picturesque lake or head to nearby White Moss Woods, 1.5 miles away, to explore the stunning Rydal Caves. Cant fault location, beautiful walks from front door and only a short walk into town. Not enough space in entrance hall if wet, with a dog. Sofa is not very comfortable after a long days hiking. Initially it looked lovely and clean, but it could use a deep clean and some attention to decorating where there has clearly been water issues. This one isRead more all about location! Hide

Cottage is quaint, and Garden lovely for an afternoon relaxation after a long walk, with views of hill up to Alcock Tarn - which incidentally one evening watched a massive bird of prey circling up there.
