A beautiful family home built in 2023, perfect for friends and families to come together and enjoy a stylish base just on the edge of the Peak District. Ideal for walkers, cyclists or just those with a love of pretty villages and historic homes, there are two pubs in the village and a local microbrewery less than a mile away, reached via the beautiful Lumsdale Falls. Matlock and Matlock Bath are two miles away with its dramatic limestone cliffs is close by. Lovers' Walks, a short, flat path near the Derwent River can be enjoyed here or a cable car can be taken to the Heights of Abraham. Cromford, with its rich history and beautiful walks, including along the canal where Richard Arkwright had one of his revolutionary mills, is 4 miles away. The grand Chatsworth House is just over 11 miles away and Bakewell is a similar distance.

Stepping into the hallway, find plenty of space to store coats and boots before heading through to the kitchen/diner with room to sit 8 guests, a breakfast bar and patio doors leading outside. The utility room offers useful space to store your favourite food and drink, with a handy downstairs WC nearby. The tastefully furnished lounge is a relaxing space to put your feet up, with comfortable seating and a Smart TV. On the first floor are four good size bedrooms with the choice of two bathrooms.

The enclosed landscaped garden benefits from a hot tub, BBQ and a patio area with seating. It is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy being outside with good company.

Stunningly beautiful property, immaculate inside and out. Location was ideal, quiet little village with a couple of great pubs in walking/stumbling distance and some great walks and cycle rides nearby. Close enough to Matlock for your essential shopping but far enough away to not get caught up in the traffic. Jacuzzi was great to enjoy the garden fRead moreor longer and the kids loved the games box (especially the logo game!). Would definitely go back again and would recommend to others Hide

Lovely house. Very spacious. We were three couples and found the house very comfortable. The hot tub was clean and hot. We all enjoyed it. Great kitchen facilities. Nice size garden and well enclosed. Beds were comfortable too.

Everything about this property was top class, of a quality standard. Very clean, spacious,comfortable and equipped. The hot tub is a nice touch. As an all adult party we throughly enjoyed our stay.

The house was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and very well appointed. We were very pleased with it and would stay again. It is located in a very nice village, not far from Matlock.

Lovely house on a new quiet little estate with a nice walk past a little pond to a large field where dogs can walk and just a little further on a childrens play park. The Gate In pub friendly, very nice sitting inside or outside and really good food. Recommended. Beds were very comfy and the house very clean with lovely welcome pack left for us. GaRead morerden is small but fully enclosed so very safe for dogs and children. Hide

Would highly recommend this lovely holiday home, has everything you need & more ! A lovely basket of goodies greeted us upon arrival which was much appreciated. A great location, lots of lovely walks nearby, a pub a few minutes walk away with fantastic food & a good atmosphere.

An immaculate property with everything you could possibly need for a great holiday. The home is spacious, luxurious and a real home from home. Everything from furnishings to towels and bedding are top quality. The Gate Inn is a short walk away and the food and atmosphere are great
