Bakewell which sits at just over 6 miles away, with lots of cafes, restaurants, of course the famous Bakewell pudding and cobbled streets to wander. The heart of Winster has its historic market square, lined with quaint cottages and traditional stone buildings. The village is home to several historic landmarks, such as Winster Market House, a Grade II listed building, and St. John the Baptist Church, which dates back to the 12th century. Walking enthusiasts can embark on some great walks, including the famous Limestone Way and the scenic trials of Stanton Moor. Or why not visit one of the fabulous large houses, with both Chatsworth and Haddon Hall sitting about 8 miles away from the cottage.

Outside there is a wonderful patio with seats to enjoy the garden, which boasts mature plants and plenty of space to sit back and relax, either with your morning coffee or a refreshing drink in the evening.
