Perfectly proportioned and nestled in gorgeous rolling hills. The original barn dates back to the 1800's and was once the milk bottling shed for the local farm. Now lovingly and beautifully restored, and in the perfect location to explore Crich and beyond. Matlock Bath sits just a little over 8 miles away; with its lovers walk, cable cars and a vibrant environment of gift shops and that seaside without the sea sensation. It makes for a great day out, or why not go slightly further down Dale Road to Matlock and visit the many restaurants and independent shops that adorn the street. There are walks and places to explore from your doorstep, surrounding by nature.

Walking into the living room, there is handmade unique furniture, a comfortable seating space where you can enjoy the log burner and a dining table, perfect for two. Loving touches throughout show the level of care that has been given to creating the perfect bolthole for two. The kitchen leads off from the living area, and is light and well equipped, with plenty of room to rustle up a meal that can be enjoyed inside or out. The bedroom enjoys views of the surrounding fields, and is a comfortable space where you can enjoy a good nights sleep in this peaceful location.

Outside is an enclosed courtyard, with BBQ and outside dining space. Here you can relax and unwind, with either your morning coffee or something cool to drink on those balmy summer evenings. Two furry friends welcome, with an enclosed space to relax and unwind in together.

A lovely little place, very well equipped with everything you might need, decorated to a high standard and very clean. In a lovely area, nice walks around the village and lots of nice villages/towns nearby to visit. Only slight downside was the track leading in was very bumpy but its not an issue. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely bolt hole for two (and 2 dogs). Very lovingly decorated. The village pub was nice enough and lots of places to get food and drink in the next village, Crich, or Belper, or further out at Matlock Bath. Lots to do and the leaflets in the cottage were helpful. Definitely be recommending Bottle Barn.

I would definitely recommend to stay at Bottle Barn. The pictures dont do it justice. The cottage is decorated to a high spec with lovely finishing touches. It was clean and comfy for our 3 night stay. It is situated in a lovely area and not far from other nice towns we visited. The only disappointment was the weather!
