Lovely cottage clean and comfortable. The owners were very kind and helpful. They had left biscuits and they also left freshly baked scones one day after we had been out for the day. Such a shame the weather was not so kind. But very enjoyable.

The owners are wonderful and enormously welcoming. The village is great and the local pub is worth a visit Thursday to Saturday inclusive. In my view the accommodation would work for two adults or two adults with two young children. The kitchen is well equipped and the living area very pleasant.

Everything was first class. Lovely atmosphere, with the cottage being warm and inviting. Very well equipped with everything one needs. Also had CDs, plenty games and books together with lots of books and magazines covering the local area. The cottage is in a small hamlet with a view of the green. We had a lovely week in this very nice cottage. It is ideally located to explore Northumberland and parts of County Durham. The owners who live next door gave a very warm welcome and were most helpful. The local Indian restaurant is an added bonus!

This a very nice holiday cottage for a couple to have a break in a very picturesque part of England. The property is very well equipped and has very good heating (particularly important when we visited as the weather was very cold and wet). The owners live next door and very welcoming and helpful in getting us settled in. There is a local pub that Read moreserves food which is worth visiting and there is a nearby Indian restaurant which is good for a takeaway. We would definitely recommend this property Hide

We really had a wonderful stay. The cottage and owners gave us a warm welcome and we felt right at home. We could come to them with any questions and they were always helpful.
