With over 30 secluded beaches and picturesque tidal creeks, this area offers a haven for exploration. Scattered along the creeks are delightful small villages, each offering hidden culinary treasures. The coastline facing Whitsand Bay provides breathtaking views and opportunities for invigorating walks along the renowned South West Coast Path. Perfect little home away from home. The sliding patio doors were a god send in the warm weather and being able to open them and enjoy the sea breezes was lovely. The beach being at the bottom of the hill was a huge plus for our child. The tapas restaurant served delicious food and came recommended by the cottage owner. We had towels and bedding on Read morearrival, there's even a filter coffee machine! 10/10 recommend here as its local enough to reach other places but is equally lovely to stay in all day Hide

Just returned from our stay at Bumblefish. It did not disappoint. We love peaceful surroundings and this is exactly what we got. Two adults and two dogs minutes from the beach. Seaton beach and country park were a short distance. Lovely woodland trek to the Copley Arms. The Smugglers Inn is fantastic for dogs!! Even has its very own dog menu. The nRead moreearby pub and restaurant were lovely too. Downderry is very peaceful. Will definately return.Very comfy place to stay. Thank you. Hide

We just got back from a lovely stay at Bumbledish! The apartment was exactly as advertised, with location better than expected! Two lovely restaurants/pubs and a charming cafe all within 5 minutes walking distance. And the beach was easy to get to and perfect for our two young children and dogs! Would be happy to book again for next summer!

A lovely location, very peaceful. The accommodation is very well equipped & clean. It is ideal for two adults & two dogs or smaller children The road between Seaton & Downderry can be challenging if large vehicles are trying to pass

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a very quiet area which was lovely. Beautiful location with a great balcony where you can see the sea. When the sun was out we felt like we were abroad.

A nice apartment overall and good value for money. The stairs up to the front door, although ok for us, might be a problem for those with mobility issues. A great position, however, with restaurant/pub/beach all within walking distance (albeit having to navigate a steep hill).
