Coltstone Cottage is in a lovely area. Easy access to walks. The cottage was warm and cosy. The decor was light, beds comfortable. We had a good meal in the nearby Marquis of Granby and the Lindas shop in the village was handy.

Nice location, near nice village. Signage for the property wasn't great but instructions were OK. The parking was OK, but could have been clearer which areas were for which properties. The semi-detached house is solid and the owners have done a good job of making it functionally modern - eg good kitchen equipment and wifi. Beds were good, and bedroRead moreoms spacious. The 2 upstairs bathrooms were OK but we didn't like the downstairs wetroom. Fine for 4, but would have been cramped for 6. Hide

Homeowner's father is really helpful, who lived next door. The red lion pub had a good atmosphere for a village pub. Ask for Gary who shared some great recommendations.

Coltstone Farm is a lovely cottage in a peaceful location. The cottage is comfortable and well equipped and the area generally is great for walking. The owners are friendly and helpful. In Ipstones there are pubs, a general store and a farm shop, so you're pretty much catered for. We had a great week there and would go back.
