With its own entrance, high wooden gates and wild valley, privacy is assured. There are numerous walks to enjoy in the area and Chysauster Ancient Village , featuring the remains of a Roman settlement, is just 3 miles away. A short journey by car will take you to Marazion (2.5 miles), offering a lovely beach where you can stroll and take in the sea air. The marvellous sight of St Michael’s Mount standing majestically in the sea is a delight and well worth a visit either by small boat across or on foot at low tide. Visit the artistic hub that is St Ives (5 miles) or head west to Porthcurno (13.5 miles) and see a show at the Minack Theatre.
Enter the lodge from the deck through the double French doors into the open-plan living space. You’ll find cosy sofas and a TV, perfect for kicking back and relaxing in the evening, and a pull-out table. On fine days open the doors and bring the outside in. Large windows throughout allow plenty of light to flood in creating a feeling of being bathed in nature. The contemporary kitchen area with a lovely marble worktop, comes fully equipped for dining in. There are two bedrooms: a double room with a brass bedstead which is cosy and inviting and a single, more suitable for a child. Completing the property is the shower room with an overhead Velux window.
Step outside onto the full-width deck to relish your breakfast while immersing yourself in the harmonious sounds of nature surrounding you. Unwind in the wood-fired hot tub, letting the strains of daily life dissolve. Keep watch for the enchanting presence of badgers, foxes, squirrels, bats and nesting buzzards, while being captivated by the beauty of exotic plants sourced from various corners of the globe. You might even have the opportunity to hand-feed visiting creatures from the deck so do remember to bring peanuts! Right from your doorstep you have access to the 5-acre private woodlands, inviting you to wander freely along footpaths down to the wild valley below.
