Just returned from a super autumn break at Shiers Barn. The property is extremely well equipped, spacious, comfy beds, great kitchen and lovely garden. The location is peaceful but very central to the best of the Western Dales. Highly recommended

A beautiful barn conversion, tastefully decorated and with everything you need.A very well equipped kitchen and thank you for the welcome pack of delicious Yorkshire goodies. The beds were really comfortable, the bathrooms really stylish and loved the posh toiletries. This is a delightful property, well-appointed and very nicely situated. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen, dining and sitting areas were excellent; we enjoyed the log fire very much. We were able to enjoy pub lunches in Threshfield & Grassington (wonderful footpath walks) and explore Haworth, Harrogate, Hawes & the Wensleydale Creamery! Shiers Barn is a beautifully presented cottage with ample room for a party of eight (although we were only six). It is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped. The location is within easy reach of Skipton and Grassington. The Devonshire Arms in the village does some lovely food, and there's a handy village shop with a caRead morefe. We had a little trouble with the internet, but the owners were quick to contact BT, so hopefully this should be sorted soon. Highly recommended! Hide

This was the perfect base for our walking weekend. The house is beautiful and has everything you need. We enjoyed some lovely evening sun in the garden on the Friday night. Bliss!

The barn was beautiful with so many personal extra touches. There were so many lovely toys, games and books. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back. The beds were so comfortable. Everything you would ever need and more.

We had a lovely weekend for our annual Christmas friends gathering. The large, open living space was great for all 8 of us to relax with the log burner. The kitchen was well equipped for our meal and the dining table seated all 8 of us including a toddler and dog! Thanks for a great weekend!

Excellent cottage , bathrooms amazing as are toiletries. Towels and bedding excellent quality. Well placed for exploring the Dales. Garden is enclosed but gate not secure for a small dog. Cottage has everything you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.
