You will find the cottage along a quiet lane amongst a handful of converted barns, all enjoying an idyllic location in rural Worcestershire. Head into the cottage and straight into the large conservatory, which is used as a dining room and will comfortably seat eight guests, overlooking the large, enclosed gardens. When not enjoying a family meal, it is an ideal spot to get lost in a book whilst keeping an eye on the children playing in the garden. Move through into the modern and spacious kitchen which has everything you need for a self-catered break. The house wonderfully blends the traditional with the modern, and the kitchen is a lovely example of that. Next up is the lounge, which has a true farmhouse feel to it with traditional features and wood burning stove. Curl up on the sofa and enjoy a movie on the Smart TV. Off the lounge is the first king-size bedroom and there is a bathroom next to it with a shower over the bath. This ground-floor bedroom makes this cottage an ideal choice for multi-generational families visiting the area. Upstairs are two further bedrooms, both king-size, along with a shower room. All the bedrooms are spacious and light and enjoy views across the countryside.
Make your way back through the conservatory and into the beautiful gardens which are enclosed, allowing children and dogs to roam freely. Children will love the endless play equipment whilst the grown-ups can enjoy a drink and cook up a storm on the charcoal BBQ. There is ample space for a competitive game of football, or for anyone who wants to enjoy some time to themselves out in the sunshine in one of the seating areas. There is shared use of a pingpong table in the shared undercover courtyard area and kayaks and paddle boards can be launched from the owner’s campsite. Parking is available for 2 cars and there is a lockable storage area for bikes in the garden.
