Lovely cottage in a really nice village....excellent food from the pub just across the road, which was very dog friendly. Lots of great walks activities and food destinations locally, even in late October. Lincolnshire Wolds are a hidden gem!

Lovely cosy cottage, welcome gifts, theres everything you need there, the sun shone through the lounge windows late afternoon which was a bonus. We made use of the shower room and the huge bathroom with corner bath, very relaxing after long walks. So many walks from the cottage door. Very quiet at night and we used the front bedroom. Excellent cottage, well equipped and a pleasant location with a country pub opposite. A fine base for exploring Lincolnshire from Lincoln through the Wolds to the sea. We enjoyed many country walks with the dog, especially on the Viking Way from Horncastle to the fascinatingly different Woodhall Spa, and a taxi home. Would recommend to anyone.

A very well equipped cottage (it had absolutely everything we needed) and ideal location for peace and quiet. Great dog walks from or nearby here. Such a lot of character to this very old cottage. Really enjoyed staying here. Nearest shop in Horncastle. The local church does teas, though we didn't personally go there. Good secure garden for dog. This is such a relaxed, dog friendly cottage. If there can be home from home, then this is it. Excellent dog walking along the adjacent Viking Way and an excellent pub just across the road.
