Discover the perfect escape within this idyllic retreat nestled in the rolling countryside of the Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This property has high eco credentials having been converted in 2007 with a state-of-the-art solar and wood-powered heating system, with logs grown sustainably on site. Broadhembury, voted the most beautiful village in Devon, is only 5 miles away and boasts an amazing pub and pretty circular walks. Just 8 miles away is the market town of Honiton, boasting an array of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Venture slightly further south and explore the breathtaking Jurassic Coast, including the historic seaside town of Sidmouth (18 miles) offering sandy beaches, enchanting gardens and a rugged coastline for fossil hunting. Beer, Seaton and Lyme Regis can all be easily accessed within 18 miles and offer unique seaside charms. Another action-packed family day out can be found at Crealy Theme Park (22 miles), the biggest family theme park in Devon with over 60 rides and family attractions. The cathedral city of Exeter is also within reach (25 miles) and has plenty of shops to explore.

Step inside this light and airy, ground-floor cottage and enter the open-plan kitchen/diner/lounge area. To your right, hang your coats and unwind on the cosy sofas around the wood burner and Smart TV. A dining table is situated centrally and comfortably seats all guests for mealtimes; the pretty kitchen comes well-equipped and offers plenty of worktop space. Down a couple of steps to the left of the kitchen is the relaxing king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room. Back across the other side of the cottage is the second bedroom, with a twin bed layout and another en-suite shower room.

Outside, there is a small courtyard area with seating so you can enjoy the evenings and watch the birds pilot the skies.

Beautiful, peaceful setting. The cottage is well equipped, spacious yet cosy. Having on-site electric car charging is a must for us so to find a place deep in the countryside with facilities like this is such a bonus. Lovely accommodation nestled in the Blackdowns AONB. Owners of the property welcomed us and even invited us to take a sneak peek around their private garden area. Nous avons pass un excellent sjour. Le cottage est vraiment trs joliment dcor et confortable, entour de fleurs. Le calme parfait. Toutes sortes dattractions moins de trente minutes et des balades magnifiques alentour.
