The front of the property beckons with its west-facing patio and traditional furniture, offering the perfect spot to bask in the sunshine. Meanwhile, at the rear, a secluded terraced area faces east, creating an idyllic setting for morning breakfasts and coffee moments. Active guests will find a secure bike store and a short stroll from the main house reveals a treasure trove of outdoor activities, including croquet, a nine-hole putting course (mini-golf), and an enchanting chalet-style children's playhouse. For those seeking a bit of friendly competition, a table-tennis table is also available. The woodland around the cottage, one of the oldest in the village, is natural and wild, expect to meet some of the local wildlife that call this home. It includes open water (a pond close to the house, a river and streams) and a short access track open to the road. Children must therefore be closely supervised at all times.

Fantastic cottage finished to a very high standard. Fittings and fixtures of the highest standard and perfectly decorated. Owners live next door and very friendly and welcoming. All this in an area of outstanding scenery. I would definitely like to return as it is probably the best I have stayed in.

This was one of the best equipped holiday lets I've been to in a long time. The house was very comfortable, furnished to a high standard, and impeccably clean. Hilary lives next door and made us welcome, however was also very respectful of our privacy over a three day stay. Definitely one of the best cottages Ive ever stayed in. Beautiful location, immaculately clean with everything you could possibly need and some thoughtful little touches from the owner. We had a fantastic time and would definitely book again!
