The cottage is situated just a short 3-minute stroll from the centre of Wooler, offering a wide range of shops, dog-friendly pubs and restaurants as well as a wealth of regional history and culture such as the recently opened ‘Ad Gefrin Anglo-Saxon Museum’ and whiskey distillery. Wooler is widely regarded as the gateway to the Cheviot Hills. Family explorers, walkers and cyclists will be delighted with the many local trails around the Cheviots, Glendale, St Cuthbert’s Way and of course the stunning Northumberland National Park, a designated area of ‘Outstanding National Beauty’. Enter the cottage into an inviting lobby where you will find space to store your outdoor clothing and shoes. Head through to the open plan kitchen/diner which has everything you need to prepare and enjoy a family feast. From the dining area step down into the cosy lounge, with Bi-folding doors this room offers extensive views over the rear garden and brings the outside in on a summer’s day. After a long day exploring sit back and relax on the comfy sofas while you watch the sun go down over the hills before settling down to a film on the Smart TV. Off the lobby (from the entrance) you will find a family bathroom with power shower over the bath, WC and heated towel rail. Next door there is a pretty double bedroom with ample storage and dressing table. There is an internal hallway off the dining area where the two additional bedrooms are accessed via four steps. The master bedroom has a TV, views across the garden and en-suite shower room with WC. Across the hallway you will find a comfortable twin bedroom with ample storage. Lovely comfortable cottage, well equipped and great to have a private garden which gets the sun most of the day. Great location, close to the high street also quiet. Decorated and furnished nicely.
