Nawton, hidden within North Yorkshire, is a perfect destination surrounded by some of the best villages and places Yorkshire has to offer. You can easily reach the North Yorkshire Moors Railway (10 miles), a heritage steam railway that takes you through stunning moorland landscapes. Explore the landscapes of the North York Moors National Park and Hutton-le-Hole (7 miles), with scenic walks and wonderful views. Visit Pickering (10.5 miles), the starting point of the railway, or journey to Kirkbymoorside for its market town. Don't forget the coastal charm of Whitby (31 miles), where the historic abbey and nautical harbour await you.

Stepping through the inviting yellow door of this intimate 19th-century cottage, you're instantly embraced by its unique and comfortable atmosphere. An intricate lounge area boasts a wood burner-effect electric fire, a Smart TV and ample seating, and is complemented by a selection of board games for enjoyment. The well-equipped and perfectly sized kitchen features a dining table overlooking the charming garden. Upstairs, you'll find two bedrooms: one super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request) with a dressing table and garden views, while the other is a snug single bedroom with convenient storage. The family shower room completes the upstairs, offering a shower and WC.
A large and wonderfully landscaped garden welcomes you, with vibrant colours from the seasonal flowers. The garden provides a unique and quiet setting with two practical storage outbuildings for bikes. There's also garden furniture and a BBQ, ensuring convenience for outdoor activities. There's also a small pond within the garden.

A spotlessly clean cosy character cottage with a lovely well enclosed and secure garden. Situated in a tiny village, but very convenient for exploring the lovely North York Moors.

We really enjoyed staying at Rose Garth. It is a lovely cosy little cottage, very quiet and peaceful, and beautifully presented. It is ideal for two people, plus it is dog friendly.

We had a lovely stay at this pretty quaint cottage. The fixtures and furnishings were of a great quality and the bed was extremely comfortable. Beautiful welcoming cottage. It had everything we needed, even our dog fern enjoyed it, loved the enclosed garden. Hopefully we will return. The owners have done a fabulous job renovating the cottage.

Cottage situated in a small village has a nice secluded garden completely refurbished inside nice welcome pack in walking distance to local pub and Indian restaurant.

Beautiful cottage, perfect balance of character and modern amenities. Lovely enclosed cottage garden which was safe for dogs. Great location to explore North Yorkshire with plenty of nice walks from the cottage. Local pub 5 minutes walk which serves food was an added bonus.

Rose Garth is small but delightful, very comfortable and with a lovely garden. The equipment is excellent and everything is very well thought out and functional. Really enjoyed our stay. Lovely welcome hamper for us and the dogs. Interior very well finished and thought had been put in to it. We managed to fit our estate car in to the garage so made use of that. Managed some nice walks, one directly from the house. Just a shame about the weather!

The cottage was perfect, so clean and tidy and had everything we needed. We felt at home right away. The welcome gifts were a really nice touch too. The village itself was in a great location, we managed to visit loads of beautiful places in just a few days. We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay again.

A beautiful property, clean and nicely decorated, which has clearly been lovingly restored and well equipped. My dogs enjoyed the enclosed garden which has a lovely cottage garden appearance. A perfect property from which to explore the moors and not very far from the coast.

The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. It's everything a cottage should be and we felt at home straight away. Off road parking is good providing the car is not too big. The garden is secluded and ideal for relaxing in. Very peaceful. The local pub serves good food at very reasonable prices.
