Located 2 miles from Machynlleth and the edge of Eryri National Park (Snowdonia). Climb the highest summit, Pumlumon, in Mid-Wales, walk Glyndwr's Way footpath, and on the sandy beach at Aberdyfi from the Dyfi Valley Way along the River Dyfi and Aberdyfi Estuary, all within 10 miles. Pop to the vibrant historic market town of Machynlleth with quirky shops, restaurants, and cafes, MOMA Wales showcasing inspiring modern Welsh art and crafts, and not forgetting the oldest street market in Britain which you can visit on a Wednesday. What more could you wish for?

This spacious single-storey barn is approached by a farm track through magnificent woodland. Enjoy creature comforts with underfloor heating and a cosy wood burner, walk into the large open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner and start exploring. To the left is the stylish kitchen area with French doors opening onto the garden. If you decide to eat in, with local produce purchased on your travels, this is a sociable space to get creative and produce a tasty meal. When ready, gather around the dining table and plan your holiday activities. After a full day out relax on the comfortable sofas, watch your favourites on the Smart TV or catch up on each other’s news by the glow of the cosy log burner. Enjoy a leisurely bath or shower in the lovely bathroom and when ready for bed choose from 2 wonderful bedrooms, the king-size, or the twin room with zip-and-link beds that can be made up as a super-king-size if required. Both have been designed for a good night's sleep and beautiful views to wake up to.

Relax in your enclosed garden with a picnic bench, charcoal BBQ and a deck down to another seating area. Enjoy alfresco dining and fabulous views from sunrise to sunset. Within a glorious setting, with a nature reserve, unique woodlands, habitats, SSSI, a stream, and a path leading up to Pumlumon Mountain.

Beautiful property, very quiet location away from everything. Cottage is gorgeous and has everything you need, lots to do in the surrounding area, perfect for those wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle
