This stylish barn is situated close to the owners' own home, yet guests can enjoy privacy and peace in their own enclosed garden. The barn has been finished to a high standard and lovingly converted with an abundance of charm and beautiful tiled and wooden floors.

This is a superb spot, ideal for exploring the whole of North Devon and Cornwall. Nearby, only 2 miles away, is the cliff-side village of Clovelly. With its whitewashed cottages and winding cobbled street, you can walk down the hillside to the sheltered harbour where pubs, shops and restaurants can be enjoyed with the local fishermen showing off their daily catch. The donkeys that service the village are, in fact, kept in the surrounding fields near Highford Barn. The Milky Way Adventure Park is located only 2 miles away, along with Hartland at the same distance. The nautical fishing village of Appledore and port town of Bideford are only a 10 mile drive away.

The barn has been finished to a high standard and lovingly converted with an abundance of charm and beautiful tiled and wooden floors. Entering the property, you will appreciate its bright and airy atmosphere. The French doors make the most of the light, and offer guests direct access to the enclosed garden, which has many seating options. There is a TV/DVD and warming log burner for those cooler evenings. The well-equipped kitchen consists of an electric oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. The property benefits from two bathrooms, the first located downstairs via one step and consisting of a freestanding bath with handheld shower attachment and WC. Heading upstairs to the two bedrooms, you will find 1 King-size bed with TV and en-suite bathroom with freestanding bath, shower cubicle and WC. The second bedroom also has a TV and is a twin zip and link which can be made into a Super-king bed on request.

Guests can enjoy both the front patio area with garden furniture, and the enclosed rear garden with lawn, seating and BBQ. There is off road parking available for two cars on the driveway.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Cottage was in an ideal location for visiting places in both Devon and Cornwall. Great place to relax , sorry the weather was not better and we could have made use of the garden.

Cottage was spotless and cosy and the owners were so welcoming. A car is needed because you are in the middle of know where.. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and views of the sea is fantastic.

Our stay in this beautifully located cottage was perfect, it was comfy, cosy and very relaxing, i haven't slept so well in a long time the beds and duvets were so comfortable; The owners were very friendly and on hand should we have needed anything. The milk was a great touch on arrival and the wine very delicious whilst relaxing in the evening. A Read morewell equipped kitchen to be able to cook a good meal. We would definitely go back. Can recommend the 'Pig on the Hill' Restaurant near Westward Ho! Hide

The barn conversion was excellent, a good size and ideal for dogs. The location was quiet although we were able to get to see the countryside/beaches within a short walk or drive away. Would visit again

We are just back from Highford Barn and didn't want to leave! We had an extremely warm welcome from Yvonne on arrival and the bottle of Prosseco was a great touch & much appreciated! The cottage was fabulous. The kitchen was very well equipped & had all of the things we'd usually take. The views from the living room & garden were stunning-loved watRead moreching the sun set.The bed was imensly comfy & everything in this cottage was pristine. The converted barn is well equiped and nicely decorated. Plenty of room for 4 persons. It faces East (front) and West (back), so lots of light and on both floors. Lovely barn with everything you could need. We felt really at home here. The location is good for exploring. We went to Saunton sands, Westward Ho, Bude, Hartland Point and Harland Quay. Lots of dog friendly pubs nearby.
