Beautiful semi-detached property, set in large gardens on a 350 acre sheep farm, located close to Exmoor National Park and just three miles from the beach.

This property enjoys a tranquil rural location in the North Devon countryside, just a short distance from the Devon/Somerset border, and close to the edge of the stunning Exmoor National Park. Just a few miles from the coast, there is ample opportunity to explore local beaches, and hidden coves, including those at Lee Bay and Woody Bay, whilst the wide stretch of sand at Woolacombe is just fourteen miles away. For those who can tear themselves away from the delights of the coast, there is much more to see in the local area, including the Wildlife and Dinosaur park at Combe Martin, the Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway, and Watermouth Castle, with its family friendly attractions.

This property offers the perfect place for a relaxing break with friends and family. Upon entering, guests will find the lovely, spacious lounge, with its huge corner sofa, Freeview TV/DVD and a cosy wood burner (one basket of logs provided). The kitchen/diner has been lovingly finished in an attractive farmhouse style, with a wooden dining table, a pretty window seat, oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washer/dryer, and dishwasher. Upstairs, the property offers three bedrooms. The first of these is a king-size room with views over the garden, whilst a second king-size room also has an additional single bed, and an en-suite shower and WC, making it perfect for a couple with a young child. The last room is a bunk bedroom with full size bunks. The bathroom has a shower over bath and WC.

Outside, the property enjoys beautiful gardens, which are mainly set to lawn, with plenty of space to relax and run around. There is outdoor seating here, as well as a BBQ, making it perfect for enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Guests are also able to explore the farm, where they will find the resident sheep and alpacas, as well as an enclosed children’s play area with a climbing frame, swings, slide, and a trampoline. There is ample off-road parking available.

We had an excellent stay at this property. Stunning gardens and location. Plenty of space and very well equipped. Would consider staying here again.

Lovely cottage with nice garden in beautiful quite lane. Would be a five star if the beds were more comfortable. Well equipped cottage, very spacious Lots of things to do locally. We loved Watermouth castle my kids loved it and so did the adults!

The owners were welcoming and helpful. A spacious warm and comfortable house in a beautiful area. If you do not mind driving down narrow lane there is access to the beautiful coast nearby. It is in a good location for exploring North Devon.
