As regular visitors to the lakes this is one of the best cottages I have stayed in. It is well equipped and was very well decorated and clean. My son particularly liked the loft room away from his younger brother! The cottage is perfectly situated in Cockermouth at the end of the high street. There are walks on the doorstep and some higher walks wiRead morethin a 15 minute drive. Lots of dog friendly pubs. Recommend The Bitter End pub for food. We stayed four nights in this lovely property. We were a party of two adults, a teenager, three babies and a dog. For us the house was just perfect. When we arrived everything was immaculately cleaned and all was easy. A nice, quiet place to stay with lovely touches such as games and kids books in the bedrooms. The kitchen was very well equipped and it was a very comfortable place to stay.

This is a well presented property. Very clean with all amenities. We used the bedrooms on the first floor - beds very comfy and considering it's a terraced house was quiet. The only thing we had was the blinds in the bedroom were not blackout curtains.
