Sherborne, with its historic abbey, castles, boutique shops, idyllic streets and eateries, is only 8 miles away. Or plan a visit to the Cerne Abbas Giant, National Trust-owned Tintinhull Gardens, Montacute House, and Barrington Court, which are all within 20 miles. Head to West Bay, Abbotsbury, West Bexington or the traditional town of Weymouth for some fresh sea air, all under 25 miles away.

Had a lovely stay in the Courtyard Loft. Beautiful setting, very peaceful and quiet. The flat had everything we needed for our short stay, with a comfy bed allowing a good night's sleep.

Nice welcome pack and greeted by Nick and Naomi on arrival. Village setting with excellent pub for food and drink (dogs allowed). Dog friendly accommodation with park/playing field 2 mins away. Yeovil 20 mins away with nice dog walk at Ninesprings Country Park, and Ham Hill Country Park
