I stayed at this property in late October 2024 and was absolutely blown away by it. The location is incredible. You wake up to views of the beautiful Ochil Hills and I feel it would be amazing in any season. It is an incredibly peaceful and safe property. The garden area was fenced off and extremely secure so my beagle could wander out at his leisuRead morere. The surrounding field was also secure with lots of lovely little bunny rabbits inhabiting it, which was a pleasure to see. It was a real privilege to have that extra space especially with a dog. The house itself is superb. It is decorated beautifully and has absolutely everything that you could need to stay for weeks at a time. The log burner really adds a homely feel to the house and the bedroom was extremely comfortable. I stayed for a week and really enjoyed the luxury and comfort of the house. The finishing touches are really well done and clearly a lot of love and care has been put into it. The location itself is a great base to visit Scotland. I visited Drummond Castle Gardens (20 mins drive), Glenturret Distillery (20 mins drive), Dunkeld which is a picturesque village with shops on the banks of a stunning river (30 mins drive), Pitlochry House of Bruar Department Store which was great for shopping and Bruar Falls which is directly behind and a lovely walk (50 mins drive stunning drive along an A road lined with magnificent trees) and to the beach and shops at St Andrews (1hr 20 drive). There were also really nice local walks. I did the Oak Walk which was a short 10 min drive away and also direct from the property the Johnny Mathies walk which was a good 45 minutes around the surrounding countryside. Alison and Alan were fantastic hosts and incredibly helpful. There was also a lovely gift basket on arrival. I would be delighted to return to this property and cannot recommend it highly enough.
