This delightful holiday retreat is peacefully tucked away as part of a collection of properties within the glorious Brecon Beacons National Park. Offering plenty of space and comfortable accommodation, the property is well suited for families seeking a relaxing base surrounded by nature where long walks await. The host village of Libanus is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, with many marked trails that invite long walks and bike rides, while the Brecon Beacon Visitor Centre is on hand nearby for local information and a pause in their cafe. The vibrant market town of Brecon (5 miles) is where you can follow Captain's Walk to see the remains of Brecon's medieval walls or visit The Royal Welsh Regimental Museum at Brecon Barracks. Other attractions include Llangorse Lake for rowing, kayaking, fishing, and paddle boarding, the National Show Caves Centre (19 miles), The Big Pit National Coal Museum, and Blaenavon Iron Works (both 25 miles).

Slightly elevated on the fringes of Libanus with views across to Pen-y-Fan, the property welcomes guests via the front porch which opens into a wide entrance hall with storage space for coats and muddy walking boots. The ground floor is both light and spacious, offering beautifully finished spaces where guests can relax. A generously sized lounge with comfortable seating enjoys natural light with a dual aspect, while a TV and flame-effect electric fire are on hand for cosy evenings in. For family fun there is a games room with a pool table, Smart TV, and a great selection of board games and books - this area opens with sliding glass doors to the garden room with seating and breathtaking views. For the chefs amongst you, a well-equipped kitchen stands ready to cook up memorable holiday feasts, as is the separate, scenic diner where the group can gather to enjoy the chef’s work. When day turns to night, find the first bedroom on the ground floor near the convenient utility room – a sizable double bedroom served by the adjacent shower room. Upstairs, find a king-size room, a twin room that can be converted to a super-king-size on request, and a bunk bedroom, all served by the well-appointed family bathroom that completes the interior.

Outside, unwind after long days in the enclosed garden that enjoys an open aspect onto the surrounding countryside. Here, gather at the table and chairs for alfresco evening meals, all while taking in the amazing views, and benefit from the bike storage space.
