One of Devon’s most popular towns, Ilfracombe boasts a picture postcard harbour, stunning sea views and selection of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. Sample the delights of the sea with a meal at one of the many local restaurants or jump aboard one of the pleasure boat cruises that depart from the harbour and take in this beautiful coastline, or even take a day trip to the wildlife haven of Lundy Island. Within a short drive you’ll also find a number of stunning sandy beaches, including Hele Bay, Woolacombe and Croyde.

Inside, the bright and airy accommodation features wooden flooring, original sash windows and high ceilings throughout. At one end of the open-plan living space is a contemporary kitchen containing an integrated oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Once prepared, enjoy meals at the dining table nearby, which sits in sunlight next to French doors that open onto the rear terrace. Towards the front of the house, the inviting lounge area features comfortable seating, a TV, DVD, iPod dock and additional French doors, this time opening onto a terrace area overlooking the harbour beyond. Upstairs, the master double bedroom benefits from harbour views, while a spacious twin bedroom next door. Sharing a bathroom with a shower over bath and WC, the bedrooms have been decorated in a fresh coastal style and feature TVs for those long lazy mornings.

If you fancy an al fresco drink in the evenings, choose between the private rear courtyard accessed via the kitchen or the terrace area with a view to the front of the property. Great location, beautiful views across the harbour especially at night and even though the property is central and close to the harbour it is very peaceful and out of the way. The beds are very comfortable and I don't believe I have slept so well in a long time.

Couldnt have asked for a better trip to celebrate my dads 60th birthday! We all had a fab time and we were lucky to get such great weather, cold but beautifully sunny. The cottage was nothing less than perfect, gorgeous views to wake up to, fab location and we had an all round wonderful trip. Couldnt have asked for more.

Great location and spacious 2 bed cottage adjacent to Ilfracombe Harbour. Ideal for a family wanting things to do on the doorstep - restaurants, cafes, boat trips, walks around the town and on The Torrs. Plenty to do to entertain children in addition to the above; amusements, aquarium and Ilfracombe museum all worth a visit.
