Treat yourselves to a romantic retreat in this detached cottage with all your creature comforts, hot tub and enclosed garden to relax and unwind. In an elevated position commanding far reaching views from Betws Gwerfil Goch and over the beautiful Welsh countryside. Maerdy (1.5 miles) has everything you need including a pub, farm shop, cafe and restaurant. Explore winding walks and challenging climbs, water sports and mountain biking, all within easy reach of the property. Head to Llyn Tegid (9.5 miles) in Bala, the largest natural lake in Wales, where you can participate in kayaking, windsurfing or paddleboarding. Travel 16 miles into Betws-y-Coed, known as 'The gateway to Snowdonia’, with a good selection of eateries, outdoor activity shops and independent shops. It is a great location to start exploring Snowdonia National Park, with cascading waterfalls, several mountains to climb, and incredible scenic views every way you turn.

Park the car and walk into the pretty garden, taking a moment to savour the lovely views. The porch has plenty of space for your outdoor attire before exploring this gorgeous cottage. The lounge has a comfortable sofa to relax on after a full day out, Smart TV to catch up on your favourites, and the wood burner for cosy nights in snuggled up on the sofa. If eating in with local produce purchased on your travels, the kitchen has all the equipment you need to prepare a tasty meal, and when ready, go through to the dining table, the perfect setting for a romantic meal overlooking the garden. On the ground floor, you will find the bathroom with shower over the bath offering the options of a leisurely soak or refreshing shower. Upstairs, is the spacious bedroom with king-size bed, designed for a good night's sleep, and a separate dressing room (with a single bed if you prefer separate rooms) with French doors opening out on to the patio with hot tub.

The enclosed garden is a lovely space to embrace the views whilst relaxing in the hot tub. Enjoy alfresco dining, maybe light the charcoal BBQ and relax at the table and chairs listening to birdsong. If you are bringing your bikes there is a covered store and ample space to store a canoe and paddleboards.
