Visit nearby Housesteads Roman Fort (2.3 miles) and spend a day at The Sill National Landscape Discovery Centre less than 2 miles from here for a fascinating history of the area. Head to Haltwhistle for shops, pubs and restaurants (5.9 miles). Drive to historic Hexham for the magnificent Abbey, Sele Park and Racecourse just thirteen miles away, and the quaint Roman village of Corbridge is under seventeen miles.
This spacious, well-equipped cottage has been furnished with comfort and relaxation in mind, creating a calm and welcoming experience. Enter the cottage into the open-plan kitchen/diner with high ceilings and exposed beams adding to the sense of light and space. The island creates a useful divide between the kitchen and the sociable dining area, with a large dining table and Smart TV. Head through to the cosy lounge with Smart TV, DVD player, and a music system with ceiling-mounted speakers. There is plenty of comfortable seating where you can unwind after your day walking and exploring the area. The ground floor bedroom features a double bed with Jack and Jill access to the shower room, which can also be reached via the lounge.
