Found in the heart of Sandwich, this stylish flat, part of a house, is a delightful base for couples or families who wish to explore the historic seaside town in Kent. Admire the town’s impressive architecture as you sample traditional local pubs, cafes, and food markets or festivals if you time it right. History buff? Browse the Guildhall Museum, which holds the Sandwich Magna Carta, take a guided tour of the town and sail on a boat trip to the historic site of Richborough Roman Fort & Amphitheatre. Alternatively, enjoy a boat trip to spot some seals. Sandwich Bay, a sand and shingle beach lined with golf courses, is two miles away. The town is well-situated for day trips by car or from the train station: visit Canterbury (13.5 miles) and its famous cathedral or Dover (13.5 miles) to see the famous White Cliffs.

Great holiday - the accommodation is very convenient for the town, railway station and buses to local places. A bonus having car parking - though hardly needed to use the car . Julian and Loretta were great hosts and very helpful. Very comfortable beds and a lovely garden area. Spotlessly clean. Such a comfortable place to stay in lovely peaceful surroundings. So easy to stroll around Sandwich and lots of local information....we hardly used the car! Thank you for the welcome.

The most perfect oasis of comfort and calm, tucked away from the busyness but in such easy walking distance of the delights of Sandwich. The Garden Flat was exactly as described but better. It was immaculately clean and easily the most well-equipped cottage we've ever stayed in. The hosts were quite delightful- friendly and informative but not in aRead moreny way intrusive. We really enjoyed our recent stay at the garden flat. It had everything we were looking for: a quiet location, our own patio and garden area and free parking. 10 minute walk into the centre of Sandwich which has a great choice of cafes and restaurants. The Haven cafe and My Thai are particularly good value for money, and offer good vegetarrian Read moreselections. Our hosts Loretta and Julien were very welcoming, and helpful with any queries. We liked our welcome pack which contained tea, coffee biscuits and marmalade. There was also milk in the fridge which we felt was very thoughtful. A fabulous ground floor flat in a beautiful setting less than 5 mins walk to the quay. Ideally placed for visiting the surrounding area - Warmer, Deal, Canterbury, Whitstable and Broadstairs all a must. Lovely flat in a large victorian house, has comfortable accommodation and a well equipped kitchen. Very close to centre of Sandwich and to the station (especially by foot). Garden is beautiful, parking is OK but I needed a helper to park. Very helpful and friendly hosts who live in the main house above. Would highly recommend.
