This stone barn conversion is ideal for a small family to enjoy a holiday together in beautiful Pembrokeshire. It is very well placed just off of the A40 with easy access to beaches, attractions and towns. The lovely beaches of Amroth, Saundersfoot and Wiseman’s Bridge are between 3 and 4 miles away. These offer a great range of options for swimming and water sports, as well as restaurants, pubs and cafes. The village of Kilgetty is just 1 mile away with a useful supermarket and a small range of shops and takeaways. For a day out in a larger town visitors can head to the busy seaside town of Tenby, 6 miles away. With its pastel-painted houses, pretty harbour and two sandy beaches, Tenby is perfect for a day trip. Other local attractions include Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, 2 miles away, and Oakwood Theme Park, 6 miles away. The charming town of Narberth with its excellent high street packed with independent shops and eateries is 6 miles distant.
The charming holiday retreat is one of three properties tucked away just off of the A40. Inside guests will find an open-plan living area with two steps up from the lounge to the kitchen. It is a welcoming space benefitting from plenty of natural light. There is a compact kitchen, a foldout dining table with four chairs, and a comfortable lounge area featuring a flame effect fire. Also on the ground floor, there is a cosy twin room and a family bathroom with a walk-in shower. The double bedroom is on the first floor and is accessed via a narrow metal spiral staircase. This is a novel feature of the property but care should be taken, as it is particularly narrow.
Outside there is a garden area that is shared with guests at the other two properties. Immediately outside the cottage are a garden bench and some pretty shrubs and flower beds. Here guests can relax in the sunshine and enjoy morning coffee or afternoon drinks alfresco.
