This sunny mid-terraced cottage offers both countryside surroundings and easy access to this harbour town’s many attractions. Little Egret is the ideal escape for a couple or family wishing to explore ever-popular Padstow. The bustling working harbour is 600 metres down the hill, where you can watch the fishing boats coming and going or take a boat trip yourself. The town's fantastic pubs and seafood restaurants are within easy reach, including those owned by celebrity chefs Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth. If you're looking for a more active holiday, try out the Camel Trail cycle path, the old railway line route between Padstow and Bodmin. The easy-going flat terrain is suitable for all ages. There is also the option of taking the ferry over to the attractive village of Rock to discover the wide range of water sports on offer. Though Padstow has its own beaches just a short walk through the town, many other stunning sandy surfing beaches are nearby, including Constantine and Harlyn Bay (both 4.4 miles). If rain stops play, there is still lots to do in this part of Cornwall, with the world-famous Eden Project a 20-mile drive from your door.
The house is maintained to a high standard with welcoming, homely touches throughout. Entering the cosy living area where you'll find two comfortable sofas arranged around a TV and an electric flame effect fireplace. The open-plan kitchen/diner comes with everything a holiday chef could need. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and wall-mounted TV, the other with twin single beds. The stylish, modern bathroom has a bath with a shower over.
Outside, the back door from the kitchen leads to a quiet enclosed sun terrace backing onto fields. A patio table and chairs are provided for relaxed dining in the sun, which this terrace enjoys for much of the day.
