Despite its proximity to many of Cornwall’s famous towns and tourist attractions, this two-storey stone-built cottage is situated in a seemingly untouched part of the country - on the edge of a family-run farm. It comfortably fits six guests in two bedrooms so it's ideal for family groups or friends. Guests are free to make use of the on-site facilities at Carnevas Holiday Park next door which has its own shop, bar and children’s play area - open in the high season. Those looking to explore the wider area will be able to go surfing at Porthcothan Bay, where there is also a coastal footpath that will take you south to Park Head and the well-known Bedruthan Steps, a filming location of the BBC’s Poldark. Padstow, home to Rick Stein's Seafood and other restaurants, is only 5 miles away. Guests also enjoy visiting St Merryn for its restaurants and pubs too, which is 2 miles away.
The conversion is spaced over two floors. On the ground floor is the large living room which is light and bright and perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach or out exploring. Located just off the living room is the property’s kitchen and diner. It has everything guests will need for a self-catering holiday with space to comfortably fit five people around the table. Upstairs are both bedrooms. One with a king-size bed and en-suite shower room. The other is a family room with twin beds and bunk beds, which children will love. The family bedroom also has its own en-suite with a large walk-in shower.
Outside is a small, paved patio garden with its own table and chairs, perfect for enjoying al fresco meals when the weather allows. It is semi-enclosed by walls on two sides and flowerpots on the other.
