Set in the heart of Wenshaston, this charming cottage is perfect for a family holiday in the countryside. Three miles from the market town of Halesworth and six miles from Southwold, a gorgeous seaside town, there are plenty of days out to experience. Enjoy the countryside and coastal walks in Suffolk, relax on the sandy shores of Walberswick Beach and visit Dunwich for plenty of forest strolls. There’s more than meets the eye with the interesting historical significance of this village and beyond.

The family-friendly home has a welcoming feel about it. The airy lounge features a smart TV, an open fire and soft seating. The kitchen has all the appliances needed, and a table and chairs to gather at dinner time with the family. Its stable door leads to the rear garden. There’s also a laundry room featuring a washing machine and freezer. Upstairs, the first floor has a double bedroom and another bedroom with zip-and-link beds which can either be king-size or twin. The bathroom has a shower over the bath.

The garden area is a fantastic hub for socialising with its lawned area, garden furniture and BBQ. There’s also a charming summer house at the end of the garden with heating, electricity and an outdoor wood burner.

A lovely cottage, beautifully renovated and tastefully furnished and equipped. Although small, it is very comfortable especially for two. The garden is fabulous with a comfortable garden room. For dog owners the path from the back gate to the common at the rear of the terrace was perfect for a short walk at the beginning and end of the day. We loved staying here. The cottage is cosy and beautifully designed; the garden is incredible; and the location was just right for us - within easy reach of the beaches but in a lovely, quiet village. We plan to come back.

A lovely cottage with the bonus of a beautiful garden. Great base to explore the Suffolk coast and countryside. We had a very enjoyable week at No.5 and would certainly stay again in the future.

Excellent fully enclosed secure garden for the dog, with a walk from the doorstep. This (and a dishwasher) was top of my priority list. Beds were very comfortable and it was great that the singles made a zip king. My well over 6ft son had a bump or two on the head going from lounge to kitchen and had to bend his knees a bit when using the in bath sRead morehower but at 5ft 8 I had no problems. We had a lovely long weekend in No 5, it was quirky and quaint and in a nice friendly village. Cottage ang garden are tastefully renovated and everything has been thought of to make the stay very enjoyable. The Church Common close by was great for the dog's morning & evening walks. Dog friendly beaches and heath walks within a short driving distaRead morence. Can recommend the Sunday lunch at The White Hart in the next village. Hide

Lovely cottage in a really beautiful quiet area. We loved the garden and summer house really big asset to the property. Also really appreciated the laundry room and everything it provided. You really welcomed pets and had thought of everything they needed and loved the blanket for the couch, really nice touch.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was a well equipped cottage with a lovely garden and summer house. Location was great for day trips to Southwold and Framlingham, we also enjoyed exploring the local village and countryside. We highly recommend this cottage and hope to return in the future.

What a gorgeous garden you have! We have sat outside in the sun, had breakfast at the table near the back door and huddled in the summer house which was surprisingly warm in the evening, after a really cold day. We've had a wonderful time! The cottage is perfect and we loved the garden. We hired a beach hut in Southwold, visited Bungay and had a lovely lunch at Earsham Street Cafe. Enjoyed the Church plant and cake sale and had a atmospheric walk on Cove Little Beach. Thank you
