With plenty of its original features still intact, this refurbished fisherman’s cottage in the heart of Padstow is the perfect place for a family holiday or trip away with friends. There is so much to see and do nearby that there will be something for everyone. Padstow itself is famous for its working harbour and restaurants, including one of Rick Stein’s eateries. There are plenty of beaches to choose from, so you can pick according to your needs. Whether you want calm waters, big surf or places to go rock pooling, there will be a beach in or near Padstow for you.

Inside the home, you’ll find a large lounge perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach or out exploring. The kitchen and dining area have everything you should need for the times that you are catering at home. On the same floor, there is a cloakroom with its own WC and a great place to hide towels, spades, and body boards. Upstairs, the bedrooms are exceptionally comfortable. The master bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom. The twin room also has an en-suite shower room.

Sadly, there is no outdoor space at this property, but with so much to do on its doorstep, you’ll soon find yourself submerged in some fantastic Cornish atmosphere.

Lovely clean cottage which is tastefully decorated with a seaside theme. Excellent location just out of the bustle of Padstow but less than a minutes walk from the town centre and shops.

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Sunbeam Cottage a well equipped clean and comfortable property well situated a few minutes walk to the Harbour. The Cottage is well maintained with two en-suite bedrooms and a downstairs cloakroom which is a bonus for families and Dog friendly too which was Perfect for us. We had a really wonderful week at Sunbeam cottage. The cottage is quite small but perfect for our family of 4, 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Clean, comfortable and it is in the perfect location, right in the heart of Padstow. We loved our week and would definitely recommend Sunbeam Cottage. Thank you.

A lovely cottage in a great location. Very comfortable throughout. Fairly well equipped - wonderful towels, lots of crockery and cutlery, good selection of cookware. We would be happy to book again.

Fabulous location - just up the hill from the main old town, easy to stroll down to be part of the hustle and bustle, but not so close that it felt noisy or intrusive. Had everything we needed - comfortable beds, nice bathrooms (its not easy to find a 2 bed property also with 2 bathrooms and a downstairs loo) well equipped and fitted kitchen, cosy Read morelounge including enough floor space for the dogs to flop down after their walks. Sunbeam Cottage is conveniently located for the centre of Padstow, and is a clean, comfortable well equipped home from home, with a number of attractive period features. We have stayed there on previous occasions and were delighted to have the opportunity to do so, again. It lacks car parking facilities and an enclosed outside space, but this is cRead moreommon with old fishermen's cottages. There is parkland a short distance away, for exercising dogs. Good location. Nice kitchen and equipment. It is as described. Not very private when blinds open on front window & bedroom's but that's the positioning of the property. We were fine with all of these aspects as its the charm, & history of the place. Owners obviously care. All in all and enjoyable 2 weeks.

The bathroom in the cottage require a total revamp. The en-suite off the main bedroom, shower doors came off the runners, toilet kept blocking, shelf above the basin makes it impossible to clean your teeth. Other en-suite bathroom fan doesnt work, shower doesnt drain properly, nowhere to put toiletries. Downstairs cloakroom has no running hot waterRead more - legal requirement. Kitchen tap broke numerous times. There are slugs in the living room. Inadequate clothes storage in the twin room and complete lack of hangers. Lack of plug sockets especially in the bedrooms unable to do your hair. In its current state this is not a 4* property. Hide
