This enchanting apartment is in a wonderful, central Grasmere location with everything you’ll need for a great holiday right on the doorstep. The apartment is above a shop and restaurant, so is perfect for two couples going on holiday together or even a small family. The fantastic amenities that Grasmere has to offer are all within a few hundred metres of the apartment, with multiple cafes, restaurants, bars and shops to choose from and enjoy. Other places of interest when visiting the Lake District include Allan Bank and Grasmere Lake – both half a mile away.
On entering the apartment, you’ll find plenty of hanging space for coats and an area for shoes and boots to be stored in the hallway. Past a well-stocked bookcase, the hallway leads to the tastefully decorated lounge and diner. The dining area features a wooden table and chairs for four. The lounge area offers plenty of comfy seating for evenings unwinding. The kitchen is located off the lounge/diner, which has a unique glass splashback featuring an image of Loughrigg Tarn as guests enter. It has everything required for an easy self-catering holiday. From the hallway, there is access to the lovely bedroom with feature beams and pretty windows. It has a king-size bed and plenty of space in addition to a tiled en-suite shower room with a double shower. A spacious family bathroom with a corner bath and shower over is located further down the hallway. There is also a second bedroom with full-size twin beds which can be linked together to make a super-king-size bed. The pitched windows make this room bright and airy. There is plenty of storage in this room with bedside tables, drawers and a wardrobe. Guests can also lie back and enjoy the TV in the twin room on a rainy day.
While there is no outdoor space in the apartment, the beautiful Wordsworth Daffodil Garden is only 200 metres away and at its best during the spring months.
