Bradley House is a traditional stone-built cottage situated in the Hamlet of Harrop Fold, Harrop is also known for winning Lancashire's best kept Hamlet competition for three consecutive years. Harrop Fold was formerly in the West Riding of Yorkshire, which is surrounded by a number of attractive quaint villages and located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Bradley House is a period cottage full of character, traditionally furnished, with a Victorian fireplace, original beamed ceilings and a walled enclosed garden to relax in during your stay.  Beautiful scenery and pretty villages are amongst the main attractions of the area, a jump in the car would take you to the market town of Clitheroe (7 miles) and further afield Skipton (18 miles).  The property is also within easy driving distance of the famous Settle Carlisle Railway (12 miles). If you fancy a day trip, then Blackpool, Morecambe and The Lake District are all around an hours drive away so you will never be lost of things to do or see whilst holidaying here. You can find yourself a number of excellent pubs and restaurants within a few miles of the property too.

This classic two-storey cottage surrounded by countryside and pretty villages is the ideal getaway for a couple or small family who want a peaceful stay within natural beautiful surroundings.

As you enter this wonderful characteristic cottage you are welcomed into the homely well equipped kitchen/diner area. Whether you plan to cook up a storm or watch the chef of the family cook your favourite dish,  the whole family can gather in this comfortable space after a long day. Walking into the living area, the characterful Victorian fireplace with an electric log burning effect fire and antique wooden grandfather clock will immediately draw your attention. This room has a very classic and traditional cottage feel to it which will make you feel at home.  Read your favourite book, or watch the Smart TV whilst cuddling on the cosy sofa, is the perfect end to your busy day. Up the staircase will lead you to two bedrooms and a bathroom. The master bedroom is spacious, with a double bed and luxurious chaise longue to rest on with a cup of tea, admiring the wonderful views. The second bedroom sleeps one, with a single bed and plenty of wardrobe space. Finally a traditional bathroom also is located on this floor; here you can soothe aching muscles after fell walks with a bubble bath.

Wonderful stay here in mixed weather, walked lots and explored the area which is beautiful. The cottage is cosy and comfy although you need the fire in the lounge on all the time and still dress up warm, nice and thick duvets keep you warm all night. Highly recommend the Sunday dinner at the garden centre fantastic and no end of tea rooms and pubs Read morearound. Hide

Lovely, quiet, idyllic little spot. Wonderful retreat for me, my teenaged son and our dog. Feeling refreshed after our stay. We were ther on the hottest week of the year but remained cool in the cottage because of the thick stone walls, like having air con.

Beautiful surroundings and an adorable cottage yet it does really show its age such as in the bathroom and at the top of the stairs where it creaks a bit, all door posts are very low I (5'8") can just about walk through without ducking, there is no central heating so if you want to heat the place up it wouls cost you a fortune in electricals bills

This is a lovely cottage in a remote area however there are many modifications needed to update the bathroom. There was a significant amount of mould on the ceiling and in the reveals in the lounge and dining room.
