Join your nearest and dearest for a traditional seaside holiday in this fabulous family home in the heart of Southwold. The property sleeps five guests and would make a great base for a large family or a group of friends. Stroll out of your front door and into the bustling coastal town, which is bursting with adorable independent boutiques and fantastic eateries. Southwold boasts two sandy beaches and, for the full seaside experience, you can hire one of the town’s iconic colourful beach huts. From Southwold, a 1.5-mile stroll or a short ride on the seasonal foot ferry will take you to the charming village of Walberswick. Children will love playing in the dunes that run alongside the beach, tucking into ice creams, and joining the locals to go crabbing on the bridge. There are some excellent family attractions in Suffolk, including Easton Farm Park, which is 24 miles from the cottage.
The charming holiday home has an eclectic style, with intriguing artwork and collectables dotted throughout the property. At the heart of the home is a spacious lounge, with plump sofas and a colourful window seat where you can relax and watch the world go by. On a chilly evening, fire up the wood burner and get cosy with a book or your favourite film on the TV/DVD. The quirky kitchen/diner is decorated in a seaside theme, and has a dining table for sharing mealtimes together and opens out onto the cute veranda so you can enjoy a spot of al fresco dining in the summer months. All three bedrooms are located on the first floor and, again, adopt a seaside theme. There are two double bedrooms, and a single bedroom with an additional pull-out bed to accommodate another guest if needed. Completing the property is the family shower room.
Outside, a Decked veranda with outdoor furniture overlooking a small enclosed courtyard with mature shrub provides the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee or glass of wine at the end of a busy day.
