An airy, modern retreat in the North Devon village of Woolacombe, this inviting, second-floor apartment is ideal for beach lovers, surfers and cyclists. Situated 150 metres from the 3-mile stretch of golden sand, it comes with a garage for storing outdoor equipment. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom apartment is a welcome retreat for small families. Try out the beach at Saunton Sands (7 miles) for swimming, surfing and family fun. Plan a day out to Ilfracombe (6 miles), with its independent shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants, and spend time at the town’s famous Tunnels Beaches. See Damien Hirst’s statue Verity and visit the aquarium as well while you are here.

Make your way up to the second floor of the building via the external staircase, then let yourselves in to find the heart of the holiday home is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This room has an understated, seaside-themed appeal and is the perfect place to relax after days out on the beach. Settle down in front of the Smart TV in the evening, take turns preparing delicious dinners in the stylish kitchen area and dine in together. Have a hot shower in the shower room before retiring for the night to either the double or the twin bedroom.

There is no outside space with this apartment, but guests can stroll down to the beach to enjoy the fresh air.

We've just returned from a week at the beach snug - the property was great, it was very clean and the location was amazing. We could pop back from the beach whenever we needed and just minutes into town. The only downsides would be that the parking is tight (very large vehicles may struggle) and there can be a lot of sound from neighbouring apartRead morements. Also drying space is limited - shared rotary driers outside. If you all have wetsuits, swimwear & towels it can be hard to find somewhere for everything. These things can't be changed and shouldn't put anyone off, just something to be aware of. Hide
