A stunning choice of 19th-century accommodation in the fantastic fishing village of Robin Hood's Bay, perfect for four adults or a family of six to explore adventure on the Yorkshire coast. Robin Hood’s Bay is a traditional seaside village with cobbled streets, independently run businesses and the chance to appreciate a fresh catch of the day in plenty of pubs and eateries. Follow a waymarked pathway along the coast up to the neighbouring town of Whitby (5.5 miles) to find characterful cobbled streets, a historic Abbey and marvellous sandy beaches to be enjoyed. A little further away lies Scarborough (16 miles), a more built-up town with plenty of seaside attractions for children to appreciate, including a waterpark and SEALife centre.
Enter via the ground floor entrance hall to find stunning Edwardian tiling and a staircase leading up to the first floor and the apartment entrance. You’ll first pass by a half-landing with WC and a handy shower room with rainfall shower unit and WC. Step through into the spacious lounge with comfortable seating, a gas coal fire, TV/DVD and fantastic sea views. Next door sits a similarly spacious dining room with feature fireplace, a record player and bookcases overflowing with games, books and classic records to be enjoyed when spending a night in. Be sure to stock up on locally sourced produce before heading home each day, venturing into the galley kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine to get cooking. Completing the first floor is another family bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Head up to the second floor to find three lovingly presented bedrooms. The first is a master double with feature fireplace, the second is a cosy twin with stunning sea views, and the third and final bedroom is a bunk bedroom that's best suited to children.
Whilst this apartment doesn’t offer private garden space, Robin Hood’s Bay is just a short walk away with golden sands and a blue sea for swimming. On-street parking is available on a first-come-first-served basis.
