A comfortable cottage, full of character and sleeping four guests, is a perfect base for exploring the historic seaside town of Whitby and beautiful North York Moors National Park. From the rooftop terrace, enjoy the view of a famous Whitby landmark, the ruined 13th century abbey, said to be the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s Count Dracula. The property is less than 0.25 miles from the quaint harbour, still a haven for fishing boats of all sizes. Wander down alleyways to find independent shops, some selling the famous black Whitby jet, and restaurants specialising in seafood. Clifftop and beach walks abound and the heritage steam train from Whitby to Pickering will take you on a memorable journey through the North York Moors National Park.
