This is a home full of character and old-world charm with beamed ceilings, slate flooring, grandfather clocks and Welsh dressers, but it also benefits from a contemporary kitchen and bathrooms. Entering into the living room, low ceilings, exposed wooden beams, a log burner and comfortable sofas create a cosy space you won't want to leave. The open-plan kitchen/diner contains a farmhouse table, an antique Welsh dresser and home-grown oak flooring. The kitchen area cleverly blends new and old with a stainless steel splashback, slate flooring, bespoke oak kitchen units and a larder cupboard. There is also a handy cloakroom on this floor. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms. The first has a comfortable double bed, oak floor, original feature fireplace, rural views and en-suite shower room. There is a second double room with lovely mountain views of Cadair Idris and South Snowdonia. A twin room completes the line-up alongside a shared family bathroom.
The enclosed garden to the rear, with garden furniture and BBQ, has views of Cadair Idris. Guests also have access to 35 acres of the owners' hill farm, with woodland walks and fishing on the River Wnion.
