A light-filled barn, with generous space, this stone retreat is the perfect place to immerse yourselves in the picturesque Devon countryside. Situated in the hamlet of Cove close to Bampton, 6 miles from Tiverton, it sleeps six guests in three bedrooms and overlooks rolling farmland and woodland. The property is one of four cottages on site and will suit a family or group of friends who are eager to explore the magnificent surroundings on foot or by bicycle. Also venture into Exmoor National Park, which begins 4 miles away, with its myriad of footpaths and follow the Exe Valley Way, which passes through Bampton. Head to Tiverton to peruse the shops, dine out and take a trip on a horse-drawn barge along a section of the Grand Western Canal.
Open the door to the barn, which is one of four holiday properties on the site where the owners also live, to find yourselves in an airy lounge/kitchen/diner, with an abundance of natural wood and glass doors pulling the views right inside. Watch TV or a DVD in here after your long walks and cycle rides. Whip up tasty meals in the chic kitchen area then dine together inside or out on the patio where you can enjoy the views. Head upstairs to find two double bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room, and a twin. There is also a family shower room.
Bask in the sunshine on your private patio and gaze out across the countryside. There is a shared laundry room on site with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
