Between Aldeburgh (15 miles) and Snape (12 miles) you will be spoilt for choice for year-round world-class concerts, opera and ballet. Bramfield is an attractive village surrounded by open countryside, rich pasture land on one side and Sandlings common on the other, running towards the coast. Gorse and heather create a perfect habitat for a number of rare ground nesting birds, colourful butterflies and excellent grazing for deer. Really enjoyed our week at Brights Farm Lodge. The children particularly liked the owner's dogs, horses and guinea fowl. The owner was very friendly and accommodating.

This cottage is truly one of the best I have ever stayed in (I have stayed in lots!). I don't have anything negative to say about it - it is roomy, comfortable and very clean and so much storage space! All the basic provisions we could need were there and we felt really at home. We were a large group of 7 with 3 dogs and we all absolutely loved Read moreit. We would definitely like to go back - it was a great way to spend the New Year but would be lovely to be there when the weather is better - and perhaps for a bit longer. Hide
