The pretty fishing village of Aberdaron is just over a mile away, with a sandy, sheltered beach which is perfect for surfing, sunbathing and kayaking. Aberdaron also has some great pubs, cafes and a traditional fish and chip shop. You can also take a boat trip to the tranquil Bardsey Island to spot a range of birdlife, seals and the occasional porpoise. Just 1.5 miles north of the cottage is the famous beach of Porthor, also known as Whistling Sands.

Outside, there’s a delightful little patio to the front of the property, with picnic bench seating and a BBQ. There’s also a large secure lawn with trees to the side of the farmhouse offering picturesque views across open farmland.
