A detached, two-storey Devon property, this inviting retreat offers tranquillity and seclusion, as well as access to the coast. Sleeping six guests, the three-bedroom cottage, which has a sizable garden that children will love, is ideal for a family break. Situated near Lobb, 1.5 miles from Braunton, it is also just 1 mile from the long beach at Saunton Sands. Perfect for a bucket and space holiday, this stretch of coastline is also extremely popular with surfers. Woolacombe Beach, 4.5 miles away, and Croyde, 3.5 miles from the cottage, are also lovely places to spend time. Enjoy your proximity to Braunton for shopping and dining out, and also head into bustling Barnstaple, 7.5 miles away, with its pannier market.

Open the front door and stroll inside to find your new home from home. Plan games, choose a book from the shelf or watch the TV in the lounge/diner together when you are not out and about. Head through to the kitchen when it is time to feed your hungry party, discovering you also have a useful utility room/shower room in this part of the house. Serve up at the breakfast bar or pass the dishes through to the lounge/diner via the handy hatch. Also downstairs is a separate WC and access to the garage, with its pool table and storage for bikes and surfboards. Wander up to the first floor when it is time to turn in for the night. There is a king-size bedroom up here, plus a twin and a children’s bunk bedroom, as well as the family bathroom.

A clean, well appointed property with plenty of local attractions and beaches within an easy drive. The addition of a pool table and table tennis set were a pleasant bonus!

Comfortable accommodation in huge private gardens, great for both wildlife and children's games. Well equipped accommodation, even for inclement weather, just of the Coastal path and within easy driving reach of Exmoor, Ilfracombe, Westward Ho and the paths and beaches of the north Devon coast. We had a very relaxing week. Secluded and very peaceful with wonderful views across to Braunton Burrows and the sea - perfect for us. The spacious gardens are stunning.

Light and bright, the cottage has everything you need and would be especially great for a family with children. Very peaceful situation (If next door isn't playing their music too loudly!) and the garden with tremendous views is the real jewel of the property.

Lovely property in great location to explore the North Devon coast. Superb views to the sea from the large garden, in a peaceful environment. The added bonus of games rooms with table tennis and snooker for if the weather is not that great - fortunately for us had two weeks of hot sunny weather ! Such a lovely location for Saunton Sands with a large garden and play equipment both inside and out. Very suitable for families. We love staying at Sanfield House.
