This traditional property in the heart of Dartmouth is just right for a large family or group of friends wishing to enjoy the delights of South Devon. The area has much to offer the curious holidaymaker, be it discovering local shops and cafes in Dartmouth or popping over to picturesque Kingswear (1 mile) on the ferry. For a dose of local history, be sure to check out the 14th-century Dartmouth Castle (2 miles). The National Trust nature reserve at Little Dartmouth, excellent for pretty coastal walks, is 2 miles away, as is the beach at Compass Cove.

In the months of May through to November why not attend one of the many local events and festivals in the area like the Dartmouth Music Festival, Dartmouth Royal Regatta, Dartmouth Food Festival, Torbay Air Show, Brixham Pirate Festival, Devon County Show.

The front door is up a short flight of steps. You’ll enter into an attractive hallway with a gorgeous, tiled floor leading to the living areas. The cosy lounge has a mix of sofas and an elegant chaise longue for reclining in style after a busy day. Next to this is a huge bay window offering fantastic areas over the town and river, and allowing the light to stream into the space. A stunning feature fireplace, a pretty chandelier and lamps adorn the room. The large kitchen has sleek cream units and an island in the middle. In the dining room, enjoy family meals at the antique dining table with space for ten. Upstairs, you’ll find a king-size/twin room plus two double bedrooms, and an airy family bathroom with a modern double sink and a bath.

There are two terraces outside – one at the front of the house and another at the rear – so you can admire the lovely vistas and dine alfresco.
